Youth Cultures
This course engages students in critical and creative dialogues with contemporary and global youth cultures. The interplay between social control and resistance in youth cultures will be a key focus. Themes may include
consumerism, subcultures, identities, intergenerational tensions, and activism. (Cross‐listed as SOJE430.)
Prerequisites: Registration status: Year 4 Honours Contemporary Studies or Year 4 Honours Youth and Children's Studies or Year 4 CED Option or permission of the CT co-ordinator.
